Roseville babysitter charged with murder after allegedly abusing a 1-year-old boy she was caring for last week.

A Roseville babysitter has been charged with murder after a young boy she was caring for last week died of a severe brain injury.
According to FOX 2 News Detroit, Kimora Hodges was charged on Thursday with one count of open murder in the death of Kyrie who would have been 2-years-old in July.
Hodges is being held without bond and will return to court for another hearing.
According to police, Hodges was caring for her friend’s 1-year-old child while she was at work, and phoned her concerned about the way he was sleeping.
It was around 1:50am when Taylor Starks, Kyrie’s mother, received a call from Hodges and she made it to his side in 15 minutes and immediately dialed 911.
At first Hodges said Kyrie was having an allergic reaction to eating soap and Starks believer her until he was seen by a doctor at Ascension St. John.
“He had blunt force trauma to the head and he was bleeding out his ears and had to have immediate brain surgery,” Starks said. “All I know is she threw my son into the wall and shook him up pretty bad and they said that’s just a bit of what she did to him.”
Starks told reporters at FOX 2 that Hodges was a trusted friend and had watched him multiple times before this incident.

On Wednesday, around 9a.m. Kyrie passed away from blunt force trauma to the head after experiencing no brain activity after the traumatic event.
“All I know is she threw my son into the wall and shook him up pretty bad and they said that’s just a bit of what she did to him,” Starks said. “Once I made it there my baby was on the ground having seizure, after seizure, after seizure.”
“He had blunt force trauma to the head and he was bleeding out his ears and had to have immediate brain surgery,” Starks said.
Babysitter Kimora Hodges, who has priors for domestic violence, is now facing charges for murder and is being held on a very high $250,000 bond, no 10-percent.
